XIC PE5160-4IL V2 is a high performance, low dielectric loss factor interface conversion card. It connects NVMe SSD or PCIe connectors via MCIO connector . The bandwidth of the card is the bandwidth that the PCIe slot of the motherboard can support.
The Motherboard with CPU and BIOS needs to support bifurcation to ensure PCIe x16 link width to bifurcate two x8 link width or four x4 link width for NVMe SSD, Otherwise this card can only support PCIe x16 link width.
Features
Support up to 4 PCIe devices or NVMe SSDs
Compatible with PCIe Gen5, Gen4, Gen3
Directly connected to U.2 NVMe SSD by MCIO to SFF-8639 cable
Support bifurcated in quad x4 data link width configuration(CPU and BIOS both support)
Support bifurcated in two x8 data link width configuration (CPU and BIOS both support)
Build in MCIO 8i connector 2 sets, pin-out defined by SFF-9402
